Teaching and Research Role in Economics
We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Assistant Lecturer in Economics on a permanent wholetime basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with teaching and research experience to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
* Teaching: Delivered through lectures, tutorials, and workshops, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to students.
* Research: You will conduct and publish research in your area of expertise, contributing to the development of our academic programs.
* Programme Management and Development: You will work closely with colleagues to design, implement, and evaluate curriculum changes, ensuring that they align with departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
* Academic Experience: A proven track record of teaching and research in an academic context.
* Strong Teaching and Research Skills: The ability to design and deliver engaging lessons, as well as produce high-quality research outcomes.
* Collaboration: A strong commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
Working Conditions:
* Wholetime Post: This role is a full-time appointment, with a minimum of 18 hours of teaching per week.
* Regular Attendance at Other Sites: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings or events at other locations.
