An exciting opportunity for an experienced
Field Service Engineer
to join our client, a market-leading company in the
Process Equipment and Engineering Solutions industry
. This role will primarily be based
onsite in Little Island
, Cork on a
permanent contract
. This role r
equires flexibility in terms of travel
and client sites and will require
overnight stays for certain client site visits
(nationwide).
Role Responsibilities:
* In-house service assembly/overhaul/test of product portfolio sold with a focus on valve related items.
* The Field Service Engineer role will consist of a mix of work both in the workshop and on customer sites including overnight stays.
* Troubleshooting and repair of customer products and providing accurate repair reports.
* Operation of company related equipment such as Forklifts, Tools & Testing equipment.
* The Field Service Engineer will have responsibility for meeting related workshop schedules in coordination with company requirements.
* Ensure that the appropriate safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment are adhered to.
* The Field Service Engineer will have responsibility of upkeep/maintenance of workshop – Including company Tools, Equipment & Assets.
* Adherence to the company's ISO 9001:2015 Quality, and Health & Safety procedures.
Role Requirements:
* Mechanical/Electrical engineering academic &/or trade qualification.
* Previous experience in a field-based role is advantageous.
* Role does require travel in Ireland & overnight stays on occasion.
* Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.
