Job Description
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Arrive to work on time and in full uniform.
* Adhere to all HACCP regulations regarding uniform, personal hygiene, food preparation, production, service, and storage.
* Carry out daily and weekly procedures, including temperature checks, food labeling/dating, and storage.
* Work with the head chef in menu planning, stock control implementation, and good stock management to meet gross profit targets.
* Ensure all mise en place is freshly prepared and ready on time.
* Prepare dishes according to the correct recipe and standard.
* Keep stocks under optimal conditions and minimize wastage.
* Serve dishes with correct garnish and portion size.
* Clean down the kitchen after service and store remaining food according to hygiene regulations.
* Maintain a clean and tidy section at all times.
