A leading provider of innovative and sustainable building services solutions across the UK and Europe is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of complex prefabricated energy projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation at the forefront of offsite manufacturing, specialising in turnkey energy centres, district heating systems, and modular mechanical and electrical installations.
The Role
You will take ownership of projects from early coordination through to handover, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery. Leading a multi-disciplinary team, you will be the key point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, driving performance and ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage site teams to achieve project targets and deadlines
2. Act as the main liaison with clients and contractors, ensuring strong communication and relationship management
3. Oversee all site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
4. Manage labour, subcontractors, plant, and equipment procurement in line with specifications
5. Monitor project costs, progress, and risks, reporting regularly to senior management
6. Ensure the accuracy of project documentation, drawings, and revisions
7. Prepare and maintain work programmes, daily reports, and test documentation
8. Support the production of installation and "as built" drawings, O&M manuals, and completion documentation
Essential Criteria
9. Proven experience in a site management role within construction, building services, or M&E projects
10. Relevant site management qualifications
11. Strong knowledge of installation regulations and industry best practices
12. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
13. Confident using Microsoft Office and project planning tools
14. Full UK driving licence
Desirable Criteria
15. Trade background in mechanical or electrical engineering
16. Experience delivering projects with M&E contractors
17. Familiarity with Fieldview, 4Projects, or similar software
