The Systems and Technology Team has a number of specialized architect openings across various areas, including Cybersecurity, Functional Safety, and Primary locations for these roles are Limerick, Ireland, Cork, Ireland, and Munich, Germany, but we will also consider strong remote working candidates from other European-based locations.
* Cybersecurity: Experience in architecting and designing cybersecurity solutions for embedded HW and SW to comply with ISO 21434.
* Functional Safety: Experience in architecting and developing work products for functionally safe systems based on IEC 61508 or ISO 26262 at the system or IC level.

The ability to employ systems thinking and to collaborate with other systems architects and domain experts is key for this role. The ability to work in close cooperation with cross-functional teams is important as is representing our system solutions to our lead OEM and Tier1 customers.
Your qualifications include minimum BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, MSEE or MSCE and 10 years of experience preferred. Experience and skills include Domain expertise: 7 years in one or more of the following areas: Cybersecurity, experience in architecting and designing cybersecurity solutions for embedded HW and SW to comply with ISO 21434; Functional Safety, experience in architecting and developing work products for functionally safe systems based on IEC 61508 or ISO 26262 at the system or IC level; Experience leading or supporting the system architecture for integrated circuit products or system solutions comprising of multiple ICs and software; Experience with security or safety certification with an external 3rd party accredited lab; Requirements definition and management; Traceability; Disaggregation and associated tools like Jama or Doors; Experience with articulating and presenting concepts to customers and probing to understand their true needs; Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to understand and clearly articulate technical issues to peers, management, and customers; Good verbal and written English communication skills to work effectively with teams spread geographically.
