Electrical Engineer (Medium Voltage)
We are recruiting for an MV Electrical Engineer for a leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor based in Dublin.
The successful candidate will be leading the design, coordination and the delivery of medium-voltage (MV) electrical systems from concept to commissioning across major construction projects.
You will lead MV engineering activities from design, submittals and procurement through to testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities
Develop and validate MV system models and perform studies including load flow, short-circuit, protection, and harmonic analysis.
Review and validate MV designs (switchgear, transformers, cabling, earthing, protection) to ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards and project specifications.

Electrical Engineer will coordinate with BIM, construction and vendor teams to ensure smooth installation and successful handover.
Mentor engineers, share best practices and drive continuous improvement in MV design and delivery processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in MV system design and commissioning on large-scale projects.
Proficiency in power system modelling and analysis tools.

Electrical Engineer will need strong knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and MV electrical equipment.
