Engineering Lead - Portugal We are hiring for an Engineering Lead to join a high-performing team delivering complex mechanical construction projects across sectors such as pharma, biotech, and semiconductors.
This role is based on a Data Centre in Portugal with a leading Irish Mechanical Contractor.

Responsibilities Lead mechanical construction activities on site Coordinate between mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines Manage and mentor site-based engineers and area teams Monitor construction progress against programme Resolve engineering queries and site issues Coordinate with offsite fabrication and installation teams Oversee piping systems from fabrication through to installation and testing Requirements 7+ years mechanical engineering experience 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role Strong piping knowledge (P&IDs, isometrics essential) Experience on construction-stage mechanical projects Background in pharma, biotech or semiconductor projects.
