Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Specialist Manager to join our global team in Dublin, Ireland. In this regional role supporting EMEA and APAC, you will serve as both a leader and coach for the People Specialist (PS) team, enabling and supporting managers at Stripe to build and lead successful teams.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a client-facing HR role, or equivalent experience in a business-facing role. They will also have experience managing and leading teams, with an ability to coach, advise and unblock direct reports.

You will work closely with People Partners, People team managers, and COE leadership to align on broader organizational strategies and initiatives. The People Specialist Manager will guide the PS team in leveraging policies, research, insights, and cross-functional partnerships to coach managers and ensure meaningful, fair, effective, and compliant experiences for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and Lead a High-Performing Team: Build, cultivate and lead a regionally-distributed team of People Specialists across EMEA and APAC, ensuring high performance and collaboration while providing support, coaching, and problem-solving assistance.
* Model Stripe's Values: Exemplify Stripe's Operating Principles of users first and moving with urgency and focus. Serve as a role model and coach for the team. Lead with empathy to foster a culture of humility, optimism, belonging, and inclusivity.
* Partner with Front-Line Managers: Partner with People Specialists to provide guidance and support to front-line managers on escalated people-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and team effectiveness.
* Advise on People Policies: Consult with front-line management on Stripe's People policies and best practices, collaborating with fellow People team members and legal counsel as needed.
* Improve HR Processes: Lead and participate in projects in service of Stripe's ongoing HR transformation, including service delivery models and operational excellence. Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes and collaborate with cross-functional partner teams to implement.

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a client-facing HR role, or equivalent experience in a business-facing role.
* Experience managing and leading teams, with an ability to coach, advise and unblock direct reports.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose problems using data and develop viable solutions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
