Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Sales Leader to lead the expansion of our sales efforts in the water and pharma markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering sales growth and profits, with a strong understanding of the technical products and processes involved.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage business development and sales efforts in the water and pharma markets.
* Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive growth and profitability.
* Work closely with the marketing team to produce a matching marketing plan to ensure the success of the sales plan.
* Develop relationships with supply chain partners and customers to drive sales growth.
* Keep informed of emerging industry trends and developments.
* Supervise, lead, and mentor staff as required.
* Work with other departments to ensure company products are incorporated into all projects.
* Attend meetings and progress updates as required.
* Production of monthly sales status reports.
* Travel and attend conferences and tradeshows as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven track record of delivering sales growth and profits.
* Experience selling technical products into the water industries.
* Knowledge of technical products in pharma processes is advantageous.
* Experience in generating sales or growing businesses.
* Ability to work on multiple assignments.
* Effective time management and communication skills.
* Excellent oral and written reporting skills.
* Good understanding of quality, environmental, and safety management systems.
* Strong understanding of regulatory aspects within the water and wastewater industry.
