We require a skilled Turnover Engineer to oversee the handover process for a large-scale pharmaceutical construction project in Westmeath.
About the Role:
1. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the scope, content, and boundaries of allocated systems.
2. A key responsibility will be to understand and manage the turnover and handover process, including walk-downs, punch-list management, test pack tracking, Turnover Dossier preparation, and compilation.
3. You will prepare comprehensive Turnover Dossiers for allocated systems, ensuring master drawings and documents are readily available.
4. Furthermore, you will ensure all scope is allocated to contractors and vendors, with no scope gaps remaining.
5. Liaison with the Turnover Manager and Construction Planner will be crucial to review, update, and communicate the status of allocated systems.
6. Early walks will be conducted to check on progress and quality of systems.
7. Regular liaison with contractors will be necessary to confirm readiness of construction work and documentation.
8. Daily turnover meetings will be attended to report on progress and issues.
9. Liaison with commissioning teams and user teams will be required to inform them of turnover readiness and punchlists.
10. Walk-down inspections will be conducted with contractors, commissioning teams, and end-users to verify system build completion.
11. Punchlists will be recorded and expedited for closure with contractors.
12. All documentation, test packs, drawings, certifications, required for Turnover Dossiers and Final Handover files will be collated and checked.
13. Ultimately, you will compile the Turnover Dossiers, agree sign-off, and turnover to the commissioning team.
