The Role
We are looking for a motivated
Maintenance Technician
to join our Rathcoole team. .As Maintenance Technician you are responsible for performing general building maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep to ensure facilities remain safe, clean, and functional. This role may also include pest control tasks—monitoring, identifying, and treating and proofing to maintain a healthy pest free environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs.
* Inspect and maintain equipment, doors, windows, and fixtures.
* Providing pest-proofing advice and consultation
* Handle preventive maintenance and report major repair needs.
* Follow safety and compliance procedures at all times.
* Maintaining accurate service records and reports
* Communicating clearly and professionally with clients regarding treatments and recommendations
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
* Previous trade experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical and general building work.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
* Attention to detail in maintaining client records and treatment reports
* Ability to assess client sites and provide tailored pest management solutions
* Professional, reliable, and self-motivated
* Full Clean Drivers License
* Full working rights to work in Ireland
Desirable:
* Pest control qualification or certification
* Experience working in a client-facing role within the service or facilities management industry
