Druids Glen Resort is seeking a skilled Hotel Operations Manager to join its highly successful team in hotel operations. This role will involve managing the smooth operation of the hotel and its departments, ensuring excellent customer care and delivering results that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* To manage and coordinate all aspects of hotel operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
* To lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve high standards of customer service and quality.
* To develop and implement effective procedures for managing hotel operations, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
* To ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, fire procedures, and other relevant laws and policies.
* To provide support and guidance to colleagues, promoting teamwork and mutual respect throughout the organization.
* To analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
* To contribute to the development and implementation of business plans and initiatives, aligning with the resort's overall objectives.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within a similar industry.
* Prior experience working in a fast-paced hotel environment, preferably in a senior capacity.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
* Able to work effectively as part of a team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
* Familiarity with hospitality software and systems, including property management and revenue management tools.
* Ability to adapt to change and prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
