On behalf of our client, a market leader in the manufacturing sector, we are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their Environmental and Water Division.
Due to impressive business growth, this is a role designed for a high-energy professional who can identify new opportunities, develop key client relationships, and help shape the future of the division.
Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and strategic lead management.
Convert leads into high-value sales, managing the process from initial discovery to successful closing.
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships, ensuring long-term loyalty and account health.
Monitor pricing structures and cost analysis to ensure all deals meet agreed margin targets and contribute to overall profitability.
Build solid relationships with internal functions (Marketing, Product Development, and Operations) to ensure seamless solution delivery.
Utilise the CRM system to lead sales forecasting, providing accurate insights and progress reports against KPIs for senior management.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and build strategic partnerships.
Experience required Proven track record in a Business Development or Sales position within the construction or mechanical industry.
Demonstrated ability to sell technically complex solutions to contractors, consultants, or public-sector clients.
Ability to negotiate competitive terms while protecting margins and ensuring optimal commercial outcomes.
Experience using CRM platforms to track pipelines and drive results.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is considered an advantage.
This is a field-based role requiring national travel, with occasional international travel.
