This is a senior, commercially critical role offering full ownership of buying strategy, supplier management, and margin performance across a diverse and high-volume product range.

Managing stock investment, Open-to-Buy (OTB), and overall working capital performance.
Developing and executing pricing architecture and promotional strategies to maximise profitability.
Leading annual budgeting and reforecasting for the Buying function.
Creating and delivering a 3-5 year category and product strategy aligned with business growth.
Driving innovation through new product development, own-brand, and exclusive ranges.
Managing SKU optimisation, lifecycle planning, and range rationalisation.
Planning and executing seasonal trading strategies across key retail periods.
Negotiating supplier agreements including pricing, rebates, exclusivity, and payment terms.
Building and maintaining strong, long-term supplier partnerships.
Leading structured supplier performance reviews and ensuring supply continuity.
Collaborating cross-functionally with Retail, eCommerce, Marketing, Finance, and Warehouse teams.
Driving data-led decision making through ERP systems and performance analytics.
Monitoring key KPIs including sales, margin, stock turn, and sell-through.
Leading, coaching, and developing the Buying team to deliver high performance and accountability.
Requirements for this Senior Buyer job include: Strong retail buying background with several years' experience at a senior level.
Proven experience managing large purchasing budgets (circa €15M+ annually).
Demonstrated track record of delivering sales growth and margin improvement.
Strong financial acumen including stock management and OTB control.
Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
Strong analytical and numerical ability with advanced Excel skills.
