Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and manage quality assurance and quality control processes within our roofing and cladding projects across Dublin and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations, support project delivery teams, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and industry best practices.
* Monitor all site quality activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct quality audits, inspections, and reviews across all project stages.
* Liaise with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors on quality-related matters.
* Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including ITPs, NCRs, method statements, and checklists.
* Assist with root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
* Train site teams and operatives on quality procedures and expectations.
* Report on quality KPIs and contribute to management reviews and performance assessments.
* Ensure materials and workmanship meet design and specification standards.
* Manage QA documentation for project handovers and closeouts.
Requirements: Essential:
* Proven experience in a quality role within the construction, roofing, or cladding sector.
* Knowledge of building regulations, construction standards, and ISO 9001.
* Experience with metal roofing, composite panels, Rainscreen, or similar systems.
* Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and best practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in MS Office and document control systems.
Desirable:
* Degree/Higher Diploma in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline.
* Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CQI, IRCA).
* Experience in health and safety or environmental compliance.
