PROCESS ENGINEER – PELLET PILOT PLANT On-site — Cork, Ireland 40 hours per week Competitive salary (market-based)Mirá Biotech, a startup dedicated to the development of innovative solid biofuels (biomass pellets for residential and industrial use), is seeking a Process Engineer to work on the implementation and operation of our pilot plant in Cork, with subsequent scaling to a commercial plant. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or related fields.Proven experience in the operation or implementation of pilot or industrial plants (preferably in biomass, pelletizing, drying, grinding, roasting, or thermal processes).Ability to operate, optimize, and troubleshoot industrial processes.Functional or fluent English.Organized, proactive, and adaptable profile. ActivitiesOperate and ensure the functioning of the pilot plant (grinding, drying, pelletizing, and adjacent areas).Support experimental tests, data collection, and technical documentation.Monitor and propose process optimizations aimed at industrial scaling.Prepare and update SOPs, operational records, and performance reports.Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and project management teams.
