Purpose
The Talent Development Specialist I will focus on coordinating and supporting key talent development initiatives, primarily at the Cork site, while also contributing to broader talent management efforts across the Ireland region. This role will support new hire induction, manage cohorts in the GROW program, and assist in administering the IDA Training Grant, aligning with regional talent management strategies.
Key Focus Areas
1. New Hire Induction: Coordinate and support the onboarding process for new employees at the Cork site, ensuring a consistent experience aligned with Ireland-wide talent standards.
2. GROW Program Coordination: Manage logistical details, coordinate cohorts, and support the planning and delivery of development activities.
3. IDA Training Grant Administration: Assist with administering the grant, ensuring compliance and effective resource use aligned with regional and site-specific goals.
4. Ireland Region Talent Management Initiatives: Collaborate with regional talent management to support initiatives that enhance organizational development across sites, focusing on Cork and broader Ireland.
5. Support early talent and leadership development strategies, ensuring alignment with regional business objectives.
6. Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing training needs through internal and external providers.
7. Promote learning and development initiatives to engage employees and managers in Cork and across Ireland.
8. Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring compliance with procedures.
9. Develop training content with subject matter experts and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
10. Maintain communication channels to increase participation and engagement in Ireland-wide initiatives.
11. Manage training records, support audits, and provide data insights to inform strategies.
12. Facilitate learning programs and contribute to content design and delivery tailored to Cork and Ireland.
13. Collaborate with external providers and stakeholders to explore innovative development opportunities.
Education & Experience
1. Bachelor’s Degree (Level 8, 240 credits) in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in Learning & Development or a similar HR support role.
3. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), proficient in platforms like My Learning.
4. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
5. Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills, with experience working across sites.
6. Experience working with regional or multi-site learning and development programs.
