PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The QC Analyst is responsible for testing, notifying direct line supervisor of any problems and maintaining records.
A QC Analyst is also expected to follow GMP/GDP at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Testing Conduct Raw Material/ In-process/ Finished Product/ Stability samples/ water testing/ packaging in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice Principles (GLP) and SOP's/ SAM's.
Recording Complete write up of testing and pass to QC Supervisor or Designee for review.
Report Problems/Results Notify QC Supervisor or Designee of any problems with methods, equipment, sourcing of materials etc. which might impact on timelines or acceptability of study.
Notify Supervisor or Designee of any OOS/OOT results as soon as they occur .
Write SOPs/Protocols/Maintain Records Write SOPs, protocols and SAM's for laboratory procedures and studies as required.
Maintain all records in a timely manner, i.e. lab note books etc Ensure Equipment is Available and Working Area Maintained Ensure necessary equipment and materials are available for working area is maintained in accordance with cGLP and internal housekeeping standards.
Carry out tasks as requested by the QC Supervisor.
SPECIFIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS Experience Essential : Industrial placement Desirable : Minimum of 2 years industry experience Education BSc Degree in Chemistry or similar degree is essential Technical Applicants should have excellent computer skills primarily in Word & Excel.
Strong analytical/quantitative skills Behavioural Customer Focus - takes personal responsibility for speed, quality and accuracy of delivery.
Self-motivated, determined and able to work under own initiative Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks within a team environment.
