The Opportunity
An established and growing strategic communications consultancy is seeking an experienced Client Director – Corporate and Reputation to join its senior leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior communications professional who thrives on providing strategic counsel, managing complex client relationships, and helping organisations navigate reputation, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement challenges.
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading client accounts, driving business growth, and contributing to the continued success of a highly regarded communications consultancy known for delivering strategic, high-impact work across a diverse client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee a portfolio of corporate communications and reputation management accounts.
Provide strategic communications counsel to senior client stakeholders.
Develop and implement integrated communications strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.
Advise clients on issues management, crisis communications, and reputation-related challenges.
Build and maintain trusted client relationships at senior executive level.
Support new business development activities, including pitches, proposals, and prospect engagement.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver best-in-class communications programmes.
Mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to team development and excellence.
Ensure the effective commercial management and delivery of client accounts.
About You
You are a commercially minded communications professional with a strong track record of delivering strategic advice and leading client relationships.
You will likely bring:
Significant experience in corporate communications, reputation management, public affairs, or a related discipline.
Experience gained within a communications consultancy, agency, in-house communications team, or a combination of both.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience advising senior executives and leadership teams.
Strong understanding of media, business, current affairs, and the wider communications landscape.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Experience supporting business development and identifying growth opportunities.
Strong commercial awareness and client-service orientation.
