Arcadis DPS Engineering are seeking a Mechanical Facilities Technician for a Pharmaceutical assignment located in Ringaskiddy, Cork. This is initially a 12-month contract. Responsibilities Maintain and support water systems (chilled, condensate, towns), boilers, chillers, cooling towers, steam distribution, low-pressure hot water, and door management. Maintain mechanical assets for the WWTP, including pumps, mixers, pipework, and related systems. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems. Support mechanical system upgrades, modifications, and project activities. Oversee maintenance of drainage systems, sprinkler systems, and safety-related equipment. Work with other teams to support infrastructure projects and ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and compliance. Ensure all activities comply with environmental, safety, GMP, EHS, and local standards. Requirements Trade qualification or Mechanical Engineering degree. Minimum of 10 years experience in facilities/utilities management within GMP or regulated environments. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems (chillers, boilers, process piping, utilities distribution). Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment.
