The Ideal Person Extremely honest and trustworthy Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather Detail oriented and highly organised Proficient with computers An excellent communicator Meticulous about cleanliness and familiar with food hygiene regulations Experienced with ordering and managing stock turnover Environmentally conscious (e.g., green initiatives, recycling) Key Duties and Responsibilities: Handle Deliveries & Stock Control Receive, verify, and reconcile all deliveries using Procure Wizard; ensure items are stored in compliance with HACCP, Health & Safety, and company standards Organise & Distribute GoodsAssign products to the correct departments and maintain accurate records; manage any shortages or returns promptly and communicate with department managers.
Maintain Cleanliness & OrderKeep storerooms, corridors, and outdoor areas tidy and clutter free, properly dispose of waste and ensure bottle bins and cardboard sheds are clean.
Assist with Inventory & Cost ManagementParticipate in month end stocktakes, control costs by minimising waste, and support the GP process with the hotel delivery dockets, report variances, liaise with heads of department on product quality or quantity issues, and pass all relevant paperwork to accounts as required Documentation & Communication General Hotel maintenance Requirements: 1-2 Years experience in a similar role an advantage Be able to work on your own initiative.
