Join to apply for the AR&D Analytical Chemist role at Cpl.
This 12‑month contract is based onsite at the R&D Centre in Swords, Co. Dublin, supporting the development and manufacture of small‑molecule APIs and intermediates.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out analytical testing in a timely manner for method development, validation, qualification, and investigation to meet project deadlines.
* Support campaign activities, material release, R&D chemistry lab work, material stability programs, reference standard qualification, and other analytical investigations.
* Prepare, review, and execute analytical protocols and reports.
* Ensure documentation meets required standard, GMP compliant, and completed on time.
* Maintain instrumentation calibration and lab equipment.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AR&D laboratory operations.
* Ensure training is completed before task execution.
* Attend weekly team meetings and contribute to a culture of high performance, innovation and continuous improvement.
* Meet with manager to discuss performance and development opportunities.
* Maintain a safe, organized, GMP‑compliant laboratory environment.
Required Key Skills and Experience
* Ideally a BSc/MSc in analytical chemistry or equivalent, with at 4 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
* Strong teamwork, communication, and technical writing skills.
* Solid technical background in, especially analytical chemistry.
* Ability to work to strict timelines.
* Good troubleshooting skills, openness to change, and receptiveness to new ideas.
* Knowledge of FDA and European GMP requirements relevant to laboratory operations.
