Key Responsibilities
* Develop a portfolio of complex cases, both advisory and compliance
* Deliver exceptional client service and maintain regular contact with client teams
* Stay up to date technically
* Manage budgeting and monitoring compliance fees
* Liaise with senior professionals
* Evaluate staff performance
* Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for junior staff
* Address staff questions
Compliance
* Ensure adherence to institute and HMRC guidelines
* Meet department KPIs around billing and recovery targets
Personal Development
* Participate in internal meetings and attend seminars and courses
* Awareness and interest in other firm activities to encourage cross-referrals
Practice Development
* Support senior professionals with marketing activities and approaches
Qualifications
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Demonstrable corporate tax experience gained within the profession or industry
* Proven tax adviser able to assist in complex client work
* Experience of managing people
* Appetite to grow business development skills
* Strong IT skills
Professional Qualifications and Education
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or international equivalent
