We are currently expanding our leadership team and are now inviting applications for the position of Food and Beverage Manager — an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to our continued success.
Food and Beverage Manager
This is a full-time, on-site role based at The Great National Hotel Ballina. The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel, ensuring a seamless guest experience and consistently high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and motivate the F&B team across restaurant, bar, banqueting, and events
* Oversee service delivery to ensure brand standards and guest expectations are consistently exceeded
* Develop and manage departmental budgets, cost control, and stock management
* Design and implement training programs to enhance service, efficiency, and staff engagement
* Collaborate with Executive Chef and Events team on menu development and function planning
* Monitor performance metrics, drive service excellence, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven experience in a Food & Beverage Management role within a 4-star or equivalent hospitality environment
* Strong leadership and team development skills, with a hands-on approach to service excellence
* In-depth knowledge of food service operations, inventory control, and P&L accountability
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet operational deadlines
* Skilled in customer service delivery and complaint resolution
* Proficient in hospitality systems
