We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to join one of the leading Nursing Homes located in County Wicklow.

Key Responsibilities Ensure all policies, procedures, and guidelines are implemented and adhered to by all staff.
Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership across nursing and related services.
Maintain full compliance with all HIQA regulations and relevant healthcare standards.
Oversee all clinical documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regular updates.
Conduct internal audits and implement improvement plans where necessary.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, quality enhancement, and best practice.
Manage complaints and incidents, ensuring appropriate action plans are executed.
Prepare responses to all HIQA correspondence and inspection outcomes.
Support budget management and contribute to financial reviews when required.
Lead and motivate nursing teams through effective communication, empowerment, and delegation.
Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management within the home.
Ensure person-centred care delivery, focusing on dignity, respect, and individual resident needs.
Requirements Minimum 3 years experience as a Director of Nursing / Person in Charge in a nursing home or similar healthcare environment.
Active NMBI registration.
Proven leadership and management skills with sound knowledge of HIQA standards.
Strong financial and administrative management experience.
Excellent communication, team leadership, and decision-making skills.
A post-registration management qualification in health or a related field is essential.
