Recreation Coordinator (Workshop Manager Grade)
Type: Temporary, Full Time (78 hours per fortnight)
Location: Working across the South Tipperary Services. Flexibility required to work between Clonmel, Cashel, Cahir, Carrick-on-Suir, Thurles, Tipperary Town, and surrounding areas.

The role of a Recreation Coordinator
The post holder must be flexible in their approach to service provision and should have the ability to participate proactively as a member of a team and contribute positively to the ongoing development of effective teamwork. He/she will be required to network with and on behalf of the individuals supported by the services in order to support the creation of connections and partnerships within the wider community. He/she will be required to take an active part in ensuring the day-to-day operations of the Community and Recreation Service reflects the ethos and vision of the Brothers of Charity Services Ireland and that the needs of the individuals who are supported by the services are being met by all staff that supports them.
Responsibilities
Coordinate community recreation activities and workshops to support individuals with intellectual disabilities. Facilitate proactive teamwork and collaboration among staff to deliver high-quality services. Network with community partners to create connections and partnerships that enhance opportunities for individuals supported. Ensure day-to-day operations reflect the organisation’s ethos and vision and meet the needs of individuals supported by staff.
