This is a senior, client-facing leadership role, where you’ll play a key part in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading safety excellence on site.About the RoleAs the site-based H&S Lead, you will partner with senior stakeholders and lead a dedicated safety team, ensuring best-in-class health, safety, and environmental practices are embedded across all operations.Safety Strategy & ComplianceDevelop, implement, and maintain comprehensive H&S policies and proceduresEnsure full compliance with Irish & European regulations and client requirementsMonitor and update safety systems in line with legislative changesAudits, Inspections & PerformanceConduct regular audits, inspections, and safety reviewsAnalyse incident data, identify trends, and implement improvement plansEstablish and monitor KPIs to track and improve safety performanceLead accident and incident investigationsEnsure accurate and timely reporting to internal systems and client portalsDrive corrective and preventative actionsTraining & Safety CultureDeliver training, toolbox talks, and awareness programmesPromote a proactive, positive safety culture across siteDevelop and maintain a site-based safety training scheduleStakeholder EngagementAct as a key point of contact for client safety representativesCollaborate with internal teams (Operations, Engineering, Commercial)Represent the company in safety meetings and forumsLeadershipManage and develop a site-based H&S teamCoach and support managers in adopting a proactive approach to safetyDrive continuous improvement and team capabilityDegree (or equivalent) in Health & SafetyFull right to work in IrelandSafe Pass, PSDP, PSCSManual Handling Instructor / Train the TrainerVDU / Ergonomic AssessorAuditor certificationIOSH Chartered Member (or working towards)
