About The Land Development Agency
The Land Development Agency (LDA) is a semi-State body focused on maximising affordable housing supply on public and other land, supporting thriving communities and delivering social impact. It is overseen by an independent board, funded with €5 billion of government equity, and can borrow up to €1.25 billion.
The LDA has initiated construction on multiple projects on State land, with a pipeline exceeding 17,000 homes, and collaborates with major homebuilders. It is also involved in strategic master-planning and planning applications in locations such as Limerick, Dublin, and Galway.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to Compliance teams. This role offers an opportunity to enhance process efficiency through creativity and administrative expertise in a dynamic environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide administrative assistance, prioritising tasks and seeking efficiency improvements.
* Perform general administrative and clerical work.
* Support public service delivery as part of a team.
* Utilise technology to record and advance services.
* Maintain high-quality, organised records.
* Assist line managers and colleagues with projects and initiatives.
* Ensure work is checked and completed to a high standard.
* Communicate effectively to provide quality public service.
* Training will be provided on the job.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* Excellent communication skills.
* Positive attitude, confidentiality, and teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in ICT tools such as Word, Excel, and email.
* Ability to follow instructions, organise, and prioritise work.
* Flexibility in approach.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in civil or public service.
* Knowledge of FOI Act 2014 and GDPR.
