Position: Technical Support Engineer Location: Tullamore based office with travel in the Midlands and Leinster area Salary : €65-75k DOE plus bonus,pension and company car The main responsibilities include: Provide technical advice on existing product ranges and explore new products.
Assist with completion of tenders.
Recognize opportunities for new product development.
Liaise with the production team for optimal customer fulfilment.
Carry our customer onsite assessments if required and follow up with any technical assistance and support required.
Customer relationship management incl site visits, plan visits to increase sales.
You must be customer-focused and knowledgeable of the product range and have the ability to recognise opportunities.
The ideal candidate will possess the following: Previous experience working technical sales role in the construction industry is preferable.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings for quotations and specifications Experience with CAD or similar packages is an advantage.
Ability to formulate plans and execute in line with budget and timeline.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
Ability to make informed decisions & know when to escalate.
