This is a hands-on, high-impact role suitable for ahands-on IT Systems Professional, offering the chance to shape technology strategy, deliver business-critical solutions and maintain high availability systems, providing hands-on support across all IT systems – Multi VLAN environment with VMware, Windows server administration, Network (Fortinet), MES/ERP and EUC support to all users in Ireland.You will lead 1 IT systems support resource & will be expected to provide all levels of systems support to users within our Ireland operations.Working within a Global Infrastructure Group, this is a great opportunity to progress your career, take responsibility for IT Systems support in the regional (Ireland) manufacturing plants & corporate users, collaborate on projects with the Global team and be at the forefront of innovation, with ERP, automation and cybersecurity key to the progression of IT services within the Group.Key Responsibilities:Your role will take responsibility for the IT landscape in Ireland Manufacturing - Infrastructure & Systems Administration, ERP, Automation & Data / Reporting systems:Configure, administer and maintain VMware hosts in a high-availability environmentManage Windows Servers, Active Directory, Office 365, Entra ID and multi-VLAN networksProvide IT user support / help desk support and all EUC monitoring & troubleshootingApply ITIL, Cybersecurity, compliance & Risk Management practices, with a particular focus on Cyber Essentials across the Supply Chain & Production environmentERP / MES applications, systems & processesIdentify and deliver automation opportunities across IT and business workflowsBuild reports and dashboards (Crystal, Excel, Power BI, ERP-native tools) to support data-driven decisionsManage and mentor a small IT team (1 other IT Support Eng)Collaborate with business stakeholders to align IT initiatives with strategic growth plansExpertise & essential skillsets required:All-round experience in supporting IT systems in a Manufacturing, Industrial / Production environment5+ years in IT system administration or IT Systems Leader / management within a fast-paced (manufacturing or Industrial) environmentWindows Server, Active Directory, VMware, M365, Entra ID, Intune and networkingStrong knowledge of business processes and ERP applications, databases, reporting tools, IT governance, automation & process standardisationStrong communicator, able to translate complex IT topics into clear business value.Customer-service mindset with excellent prioritisation and project management skillsDesirable: ITIL, Microsoft or VMware certifications, Networking (any vendor)Please note that EU/EEA/UK citizens or current, valid full working visa holders in Irelandonlyneed apply.
