Director of Nursing - Mental Health

We are seeking a senior nursing leader to help shape the next phase of our growth as we advance an ambitious programme of service development.
Purpose of the role:
The Director of Nursing Mental Health is a key leadership position, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and serving on the Executive Leadership Team.
This role provides both strategic and operational leadership for nursing services within Highfield Healthcare's mental health services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimising resource utilisation, and delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
The Director is a lead member of the Clinical Governance Committee and drives continuous improvement across the service, aligning mental health services with organisational objectives and regulatory obligations.
Eligibility Criteria:
* Registered Psychiatric Nurse with registration on the Psychiatric Division of the NMBI register
* Minimum of 5 years senior leadership experience in mental health nursing
* Proven expertise in clinical governance, compliance, and risk management
* Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Commission's Judgement Support Framework and relevant legislation
* Postgraduate qualification in Healthcare Management, Leadership, or a related field is desirable
