Materials Planner – 12 month contract – Dublin – Biopharmaceuticals – up to €55/hour
Do you want to work with a leading biotech company in their mission to transform lives and develop and deliver innovative new medicines? Our partner, based in Dublin, is seeking a Materials Planner to support them, initially on a 12-month basis.
Responsibilities as a Materials Planner:
1. Identify material requirements
2. Identify and manage suppliers
3. Ensure correct quantities are estimated to support technical studies and batch manufacturing
4. Attend Material Review Board (MRB), Supplier Review Board (SRB), and Qualification tracker meetings to ensure materials and suppliers are qualified for use
5. Coordinate the qualification of new vendors/suppliers
6. Coordinate with buyers to complete raw material purchasing
7. Generate new material request forms to initiate qualification of the material
8. Create SAP master data for materials to facilitate the creation of Process Orders in SAP
9. Update BOM and MES where required to support manufacturing lines
10. Chair weekly calls to support NMI production for technology transfer
Experience required as a Materials Planner:
* Proficient in SAP ERP system, including familiarity with requirements and processes for material master data build, Bill of Materials creation, purchasing, MRP, and production planning
* System awareness: Veeva Vault, SAP ECC, and SmartSheet
* Planning experience in an MRP environment
* Understanding of cGMP raw material purchasing requirements
