Kia ora! We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join our awesome team based in Newmarket, Auckland.
Is this your next role?
You’ll manage medium to complex accounting and reconciliations for the Heartland Group, including (but not limited to) Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliations, Investment Properties, Financial Instruments, and Investments. Central to the role is ensuring financial transactions are accurately accounted for, with all reconciliations completed in a timely manner to support both internal and external reporting.

You’re a detail-oriented Financial Accountant with a continuous improvement mindset and experience in a high-volume, complex environment. You’re organised, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Your strong technical accounting and Excel skills help you deliver high-quality results on time. You’re a confident communicator who builds strong relationships and enjoys collaborating to achieve team goals.
You’re a Pro With
* CA qualified (or equivalent) with a tertiary qualification in accounting or finance (preferred)
* 3+ years post-qualification experience
* Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills
* Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Financial services experience is a plus
