We have a fantastic opportunity for a Breakfast/Pastry Chef to join our culinary team The Ravenport Resort, part of the Neville Hotel Group.
The role:
You will be responsible for preparing and serving highquality breakfast dishes, ensuring smooth and efficient service. You will also have responsibilities in Pastry, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and presentation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who thrives in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook highquality breakfast dishes to a high standard.
* Prepare and cook highquality Pastry dishes to a high standard.
* Ensure all food is prepared efficiently and monitored throughout service for temperature and quality.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to food hygiene and safety standards.
* Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the head chef.
* Work efficiently under pressure during busy breakfast service periods.
* Assist with lunch prep and support other kitchen teams as needed.
* Follow all food safety regulations and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
* Be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Ensure consistency in portion control and food presentation.
Requirements or the role:
* A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
* The ability to work well under pressure and on own initiative.
* Excellent communication skills.
* The right to work unrestricted in Ireland.
