Senior Speech and Language Therapist Location: Cork Clinic Cork, Ireland Type: Full-Time | Flexible/Hybrid Options Available We are seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our expanding team at Cork Clinic.
This role offers excellent opportunities for continuing professional development, weekly supervision, and the chance to work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality assessments and therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out Autism assessments (including ADOS-2) in line with best practice guidelines.
Participate directly in ADOS-2 assessments and collaborate with lead clinical psychologists.
Provide detailed reports and highly individualised recommendations following assessments.
Liaise with clients, families, carers, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative care approach.
Onward referral to other MDT members where required.
Deliver ongoing intervention and support for clients and their families.
Maintain detailed clinical notes and draft progress reports.
Coordinate with Assistant Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, and other team members as part of the assessment and intervention process.
Manage an independent caseload efficiently.
Essential Criteria: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (CORU registered).
Formal ADOS-2 training completed.
Post-qualification or undergraduate placement experience in a paediatric/disability setting.
Strong communication skills oral and written.
Motivated, adaptive, creative, and passionate about working with clients across a mixed and varied caseload.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and reflective practice skills.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Desirable Criteria: Postgraduate qualification and/or additional relevant experience.
Experience developing and running group programs for children and/or parents.
Comfortable producing video-based content for private intervention and online use.
