About the Role
Our client, a specialist cleanroom fit‑out contractor working exclusively in the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to support the delivery of cleanroom fit‑out projects in Limerick. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role focused on quality management throughout the fit‑out phase, from installation through to final handover. You will work on GMP‑compliant cleanroom environments in a fast‑paced construction setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage quality documentation and compliance throughout the fit‑out phase using Procore or similar project management platforms
* Set up and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring all quality procedures and documentation are complete
* Collate and organise turnover packages/handover packs for client delivery, ensuring all documentation is audit‑ready
* Lead snagging walk‑downs and coordinate defect resolution with site teams and subcontractors for client handover
* Conduct site inspections and quality audits on cleanroom installations, partitioning, finishes, and associated fit‑out works
* Work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and the client to resolve quality issues on‑site
* Ensure all work is completed to specification, on schedule, and meets regulatory requirements
* Provide technical support and problem‑solving throughout the project lifecycle
* Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer on construction or fit‑out projects
* Strong background in quality management within pharma, cleanroom, or GMP‑regulated environments
* Hands‑on experience setting up Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation
* Experience with snagging processes, defect management, and final handover procedures
* Proficiency using Procore or equivalent construction management software
* Excellent communication and coordination skills with ability to liaise effectively with clients and site teams
* Ability to work independently on fast‑paced construction sites
* Experience with pharma cleanroom or controlled environment fit‑out projects
* Knowledge of GMP requirements and pharma construction quality standards
* Familiarity with cleanroom classifications and associated compliance requirements
