Job Description for Professional Services IT Engineer
We are currently seeking enthusiastic Professional Services Engineers who want to forge an IT career with no upper limit. This position offers opportunities for growth and development in an environment that values continuous learning.
The role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly. Responsibilities include engaging with customers to provide installation, migration, and handling installations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and excellent customer communication skills, with relevant IT support experience in a similar MSP role.
The Professional Services Engineer will research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve system issues. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of customer issues and see problems through to resolution.
Essential Qualifications, Training, and Experience
* Minimum of a BSc (Hons) in IT
* MCP experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications
* Self-motivated, ambitious, with strong technical skills and excellent communication skills
* Experience in client/account management in the IT industry
* Experience coordinating, implementing, and monitoring projects and processes
* Ability to identify, assess, and develop activities for improvement
* Flexible, adaptable, tolerant in changing environments; team player
* Full clean driving license: B
* Languages: English C2 - Fluent
* Specializations: Office 365, Firewall setup, VMware, Veeam, Hyper-V, Microsoft, Apple, Wireless Technologies

Responsibilities
* Manage escalations from Level 1, 2, and 3 Engineers, including major incidents, and coordinate resolutions with resolver groups and third parties
* Lead designated projects, including installation of server hardware, firewalls, core infrastructure, Wi-Fi, cloud solutions, and networks
* Collaborate with sales and project teams to develop plans and deliver projects efficiently
* Provide high-level customer service and professionalism
* Mentor Level 1, 2, and 3 Engineers, promoting a culture of learning and customer focus
* Build and maintain proactive relationships with clients
* Support customers with hardware and software issues, onsite or remotely, including site visits
* Continuously learn new technologies and identify training needs
