About CPAC ModularAt CPAC Modular,using Modern Methods of Construction, MMC specialising in volumetric modules,we design andconstructhigh-quality buildings that set new standards for sustainability, speed, and innovationin afast trackenvironment.Ourmultiaward-winning in-house team specialises in delivering permanent solutions across education, healthcare, commercial, andresidentialsectors.With the opening of our newstate-of-the-artmanufacturing facility,wereexpanding our capacity and our team.Now is the perfect time to join us and help build smarter.Role OverviewWe areseekingan experienced and driven?Design Manager?to lead and coordinate the design development process across multiple construction projects.This role manages a multidisciplinary team, this role will require close collaboration with internal departments, external consultants, and client representatives to ensure technically robust, compliant, and efficient design delivery from concept through to construction.Therole is based,at ourhead officeinDunshaughlin,withtheoptionof working remotely each Wednesday.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and lead the design processand documentationacross multiple projects from early-stage concept tohandover.Manage a multidisciplinary team, providing support and guidance to team members, whiledisseminatingworkload.Act as the primarydesignliaison between internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and clients for all design-related matters.Oversee coordination between architectural, structural, MEP, and manufacturing design disciplines.Ensure design outputcomplies withrelevant Building Regulations, planning requirements, and statutory approvals.Provideexpertiseand coordinate with internal departments across the construction and manufacturingteamsrelating todesigntimelines.Drive innovation in modular design.Lead ISO 19650and NSAIAgrementCertcompliance.Review and sign off design drawings, specifications, schedules, and BIM models.Support value engineering initiatives whilemaintainingdesign integrity and compliance.Manage design risks,identifyclashes, and resolve technical issues early.Ensure all designs are aligned with CPAC Modulars manufacturing, transport, and installation capabilities.Support pre-construction and estimating teams with technical input and buildability assessments.Contribute to continuous improvement across the design process and company standards.EducationSkills requiredDegree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related disciplineProfessional accreditation (RIBA, CIAT, ICE,IStructE, CIBSE) desirableBIM certifications advantageousExperience5+yearspreviousexperience inConstruction Design.Previousexperiencein personnelmanagement is essential.Experience using a variety of IT software packages.Experience incoordinating external audits(ISO19650)would be a distinct advantage.Additional RequirementsStrong leadership and communication skillsHighly organised with excellent problem-solving abilityCommercially aware and detail-focusedProactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced environmentsSkillsConstruction Management Engineering BIM Architecture construction designBenefitsfree parking Annual Bonus / 13th Cheque Laptop Mobile Phone Pension Fund
