This opportunity comes at one of the most exciting times in our group history as we expand our brand portfolio.Job Description:The HGV Sales Manager is responsible for driving new and used heavy goods vehicle sales while managing and developing a high-performing sales team. The role focuses on delivering volume and profit targets, strengthening customer relationships (including fleet, logistics, and construction sectors), and ensuring full compliance with brand and regulatory standards. This is a leadership position requiring both strategic planning and hands-on sales execution.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Business DevelopmentDevelop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed HGV sales and profitability targets.Identify new business opportunities in transport, logistics, construction, agriculture, and fleet sectors.Manage the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to delivery, including quotations, tenders, and contract negotiation.Team LeadershipLead and motivate the HGV sales team to consistently achieve KPIs and targets.Provide coaching, training, and performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement.Foster a results-driven and customer-centric culture within the team.Client & Fleet Relationship ManagementBuild long-term relationships with key accounts, fleets, and B2B clients.Develop tailored solutions based on client needs including vehicle configuration, financing, and aftersales support.Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.Operational ManagementWork closely with OEMs to manage vehicle stock, order pipeline, and lead times.Collaborate with the service and parts departments to ensure seamless delivery and strong aftersales support.Monitor competitor activity and market trends to remain competitive.Compliance & ReportingEnsure adherence to regulatory standards including GDPR, and health and safety laws.Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and monthly performance reports to senior management.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OEM programs, legislative changes (e.g. Euro VI, emissions standards), and product developments.Qualifications & Skills:Minimum 3–5 years' experience in HGV or commercial vehicle salesStrong understanding of HGV specifications, configurations (e.g. rigids, tractors, trailers), and operational needs.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B or fleet environment.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Strong leadership abilities with experience coaching and managing teams.Familiarity with commercial vehicle legislation, type approval, RSA and tachograph regulations.Competency with CRM systems and Dealer Management Systems (e.g. Keyloop, CDK).Full HGV licence advantageous, but not essential.What We Offer:· Competitive salary and performance-based bonus.· Comprehensive benefits package.· Opportunity to work with an innovative and dynamic team.· Career growth and professional development opportunities.Job Type: Full-timeLanguage:English (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
