* Develop and implement annual plans, including profit and loss forecasts, and present them to the management committee for approval.
* Establish and agree upon annual, quarterly, and monthly targets with the management committee.
* Nurture existing sponsor relationships to ensure continued support and secure additional sponsorship income from existing sponsors each year.
* Lead research and business development activities to identify new sponsorship opportunities.
* Design a tiered sponsorship model to maximize sponsorship opportunities.
* Pursue new business and sponsorship contracts, focusing on consistent commercial income growth each year.
* Develop and execute a sponsor engagement plan, ensuring minimum quarterly meetings with key sponsors to maintain satisfaction and optimize partnership agreements.
* Oversee supplier relationships, including service delivery and pricing.
* Coordinate tasks between sponsors, suppliers, operations teams, and social media teams regarding commercial activities, signage, LED screens, car sponsorships for players, accommodation suppliers, etc.
* Be responsible for daily invoicing of sponsorship amounts and commercial income, as well as following up with sponsors and partners regarding cash collection as necessary.
* Monitor income and costs, providing explanations for variances versus budget and producing weekly and monthly reports.
* Manage the contact database for sponsors, partners, and suppliers.
* Take ownership of assigned match-day preparatory tasks and match-day tasks, with responsibility shared with other members of the office team.
* Perform other assigned operational tasks directed by the management committee.
* Assist with people management tasks, including setting KPIs, review meetings, and performance management, as assigned by the management committee.
* Provide administrative support to the club and the management committee.
* Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify areas for profit improvement and negotiate with sponsors and suppliers as necessary.
* Collaborate with the team and perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelor's honors degree in business or a related field is preferred but not essential.
Extensive experience in business development is required.
Previous sales role experience is desirable.
Strong relationship-building skills with businesses and companies are essential.
Demonstrable experience in networking and winning new business is required.
Ability to motivate oneself to exceed sales targets is essential.
Strong administrative skills and time management are necessary.
Capacity to work cross-functionally within the organization and with volunteers is required.
High work ethic is expected.
