Our projects range fromcorporate headquarters and hybrid officestoCAT B refurbishments.We combinecreative design thinkingwithhands-on project delivery, working closely with clients to transform their spaces into environments that inspire productivity, collaboration, and well-being.Role OverviewThis role is responsible for understanding client needs, developing concept and technical designs, and preparing accurate cost quotations for office interior projects. They will be a key member of ourdesign and delivery team, responsible for developing creative workplace concepts using M2 Office's product portfolio, space planning, and technical drawings that bring our clients' visions to life.This role requires bothstrong design sensibilityandtechnical accuracy, with proficiency in PCon,AutoCAD or SketchUp, plus good communication and presentation skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Concept DevelopmentDevelop innovative workplace design concepts aligned with client briefs and brand identities.Produce space plans, mood boards, 3D visuals, and presentations for client approval.Research and select finishes, materials, furniture, lighting, and colour schemes.Contribute to workplace strategy and space optimisation discussions.Cost Estimating & Quotation PreparationPrepare detailed cost estimates covering partitions, flooring, ceilings, furniture, M&E works, technology, and other fit-out elements.Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and lead times.Develop clear, professional quotation documents and bills of quantities (BOQs).Technical DrawingsPrepare and update pCon / AutoCAD drawings including GA plans, reflected ceiling plans, furniture layouts, and detailed joinery drawings.Support production of detailed drawing packs for tender and construction phases.Coordinate drawing updates in response to client or project manager feedback.Ensure all design documentation is accurate, buildable, and compliant with regulations.Skills & Experience Required3+ years' experience in commercial interior design, ideally within a design & build or fit-out environment.Strong pCon/ AutoCAD skills (Revit, SketchUp an advantage).Strong design flair combined with solid technical understanding of buildability.Analytical mindset with strong numerical accuracy for estimating.Knowledge of CAT B fit-outs and workplace design trends.Familiarity with furniture systems, finishes, and materials.Excellent communication and presentation skills — comfortable client-facing.QualificationsDegree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related work experiencePortfolio demonstrating commercial design work essential.Project coordination or pre-contracts experience is an advantage.Key AttributesCreative thinker with attention to detail and practicality.Collaborative mindset — enjoys working closely with project managers and clients.Strong organisational and time management skills.Confident, positive, and proactive communicator.Passionate about workplace design, user experience, and sustainability.PackageCompetitive salary (DOE).Performance bonus.Continuous professional development support.Laptop, design software licences, and flexible working options.
