They act for a broad range of clients specialising in defence litigation for insurers and self insured organisations.
Due to continued expansion, Leeson Legal is seeking a Solicitor to join its litigation team.
This role is ideal for a solicitor with 1+ year post qualification experience who has hands‑on experience in litigation matters and wishes to grow their career in a supportive, fast‑paced environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior solicitors and partners across a varied litigation caseload.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and career development in the area of defence litigation.
The role will involve:
Managing a mixed litigation caseload,
Drafting pleadings, motions, affidavits, advices, and correspondence
Attending court, settlement meetings, and consultations
Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda
Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, and third parties
Ensuring deadlines, compliance requirements, and file workflows are met
Maintaining a high standard of professionalism and client care.
Requirements:
Experience in litigation (Circuit Court and/or High Court exposure desirable)
Strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills
Ability to manage competing deadlines in a busy practice
High attention to detail and ability to take initiative
Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive matters
