Our client requires a Health and Safety Manager to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive health and safety function from the ground up.
This is a stand-alone role looking after H&S for 170 staff across 4 sites, reporting in to the MD. The successful candidate will shape and embed a robust health and safety culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and implementation of a Group Health & Safety strategy (using ISO45001 framework)
* Conduct risk assessments, develop safe systems of work, ensure compliance with legislation and industry best practice
* Monitor site safety related to vehicle movement, pedestrian safety storage practices space management
