Overview A large Private Equity fund is currently seeking an Investment Risk Senior Managerto assess individual investment proposals & provide ongoing oversight of the existing portfolio of investments. The role will have oversight of risk for all investment decisions regarding €2billion in capital that the fund is currently looking to deploy. Your core role here will be to sit alongside the origination team and take the view of 1st line investment risk appraisal. You will mostly be assessing from a bottom up perspective utilising a mix ofFinancial Analysis & Commercial Appraisal. Allied to this, you will also get involved in a wider top-down assessment asset allocation & where investments sit in overall portfolio regarding investment appetite. As well as that, there is a section of the portfolio dedicated to listed/public investments that you will have an opportunity to get involved in as they merge with overall portfolio construction decisions to include public & private. Your Day-to-Day Independently challenge & review new investment proposals Identify, assess & monitor risk both at origination & of existing investments Review of transaction proposals (particularly direct investments) and identification of key risks (incl. sector assessment, financial and projections analysis). Ongoing stress testing of both private and public asset exposures Your Background Extensive experience in Credit or Risk in Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Finance, VC or similar environment ACA, ACCA, CFA or relevant experience in assessing Investment Risk Broad knowledge of a range of industries and sectors (incl. Venture Capital, Private Equity, Services, Food & Agri, Renewable Energy, Real Estate and Infrastructure).
