The ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of HGV vehicle servicing and repairs. They must have a proactive approach to develop and manage the workshop business and operations to maximise customer and employee satisfaction, as well as business performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and attend daily meetings between parts and service teams.
* Ensure an efficient flow of authorised work in the workshop.
* Develop, implement and monitor standards and routines to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness within the workshop.
* Monitor the ongoing condition of workshop tools and equipment, arranging purchase, repair and calibration as necessary.
* Coordinate with the parts department to ensure parts availability.
* Assist workshop personnel with technical issues and provide guidance when needed.
* Increase service level solutions sales by developing, maintaining and communicating the services portfolio and solutions according to customer needs.
Requirements
* 2-3 Years Service Management experience with strong technical knowledge.
* Qualified Mechanic or Engineering qualification.
* Strong IT skills.
* Relevant experience in the automotive industry.
* HGV licence is advantageous but not essential.
