About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven
Blue-Collar Recruiter
to join our busy
Construction & Trades recruitment desk
. This is a full-time role suited to someone with at least
2 years' recruitment experience
, ideally within construction, trades, or high-volume staffing.
You will take ownership of sourcing, screening, and placing candidates into a range of blue-collar construction roles, while building strong relationships with both clients and workers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within a fast-paced and growing recruitment business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for blue-collar construction roles
* Source candidates for positions such as general operatives, skilled trades, labourers, and plant operators
* Advertise vacancies across job boards and social media platforms
* Conduct candidate interviews, screening, and suitability assessments
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of available workers
* Coordinate client requirements, interviews, and site start dates
* Ensure compliance with eligibility, tickets, certifications, and documentation
* Maintain accurate records on the CRM and recruitment systems
* Develop strong relationships with both clients and candidates through regular communication
* Support workforce planning and ongoing staffing needs for construction clients
What We're Looking For
* Minimum
2+ years' experience
in recruitment (blue-collar, construction, industrial, or similar preferred)
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Confident sourcing candidates using job boards, CV databases, and social platforms
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Experience recruiting within construction or trades is a strong advantage
