System Operations Manager
Job Overview:
* The System Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure systems and servers, maintaining a high level of service delivery to customers.
* This role involves research into current best practice technology solutions and their implementation in our environment.
* Key responsibilities also include managing external vendors and third-party consultants, assisting in project management and technical implementations, and participating in Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Problem Management meetings.
Requirements:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role with a strong track record of delivering high-quality services.
* Technical expertise in ITIL aligned Service desk principles, including triage, troubleshooting, and escalation of tickets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of awareness of cybersecurity best practices and concepts.
* Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security certification is highly desirable.
* Previous experience in the Pharma industry is an advantage but not essential.
