Job Title: CaregiverAbout the JobAs a caregiver, your job is to help people live safely and comfortably in their own homes. You'll support older adults and people with disabilities by providing non-medical help. Each person's needs are different, so the care you give will be personal and flexible.You'll help in three main areas:CompanionshipHelp Around the HousePersonal Care1. CompanionshipYou'll spend time with the person and support their social and emotional needs, including:Talking and keeping them companyHelping them walk safelyMaking meals and cleaning up afterwardReminding them to take medicine or go to appointments2. Help Around the HouseThis includes light cleaning and helping with everyday tasks like:Dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed sheetsWashing and ironing clothesDoing small errands (like grocery shopping)Going with them to appointments3. Personal CareYou'll help with daily hygiene and getting ready for the day.
