Job Role Summary
An accomplished Mechanical Maintenance Technician/Fitter is required to undertake plant and equipment installation, maintenance and servicing at various sites in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation, routine servicing and repair of plant and equipment including pumps, oil burners, dosing systems, pipework and associated services.
* Accurate and timely recording of relevant activities and maintenance schedules.
* Conduct regular checks, inspections and audits as directed by management.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a mechanical background such as mechanical fitter or maintenance fitter (MAMF).
* Qualification as a fitter or possess significant mechanical maintenance experience.
* Practical and hands-on experience within the manufacturing industry or similar environment with medium/heavy industrial context.
A full clean driving licence and effective communication skills are also required for this role. The successful candidate will be expected to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and drug/alcohol testing.
The ideal candidate will work independently, perform both planned and reactive repairs and maintenance, and demonstrate flexibility to meet operational demands.
