About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an account strategist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for consulting with clients to find optimal advertising solutions.
Responsibilities
* Achieve quarterly business and product growth goals
* Manage a portfolio of medium and large businesses, understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and planning for multi-quarter success
* Proactively pitch and consult with customers on digital marketing strategies and budgets
* Drive customer growth by providing excellent sales experiences and meeting marketing objectives
* Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and agencies
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
* 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles
* Fluent in English and Norwegian to support clients in the Norwegian market
* Experience in assessing and achieving client success through sales techniques, including questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling
* Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics, with expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns focused on performance marketing
* Ability to craft compelling narratives and use storytelling as a client engagement strategy
* Ability to manage a portfolio in advertising or media sales and consistently exceed quotas to drive growth
